I didn’t have an address for this event. Alyssa, the secretary at Illiana Pullers just said, “Get to Hazelwood and you’ll find it,” and by God I did, right at the Fire Hall. The event is a fundraiser for the local Fire Department and is a huge community event. This event is like a cool downtown country street fair. The pull is put on by the Fire Department and it’s a free event. The fire department primarily makes it’s money by selling their gigantic fish sandwiches. Check out the line! The fish sandwiches were well worth the wait! The local church provided homemade desserts, and what Indiana festival would be complete without homemade applesauce?
Got to talk to a lot of people but I wasn’t able to get a lot of photos on the track. This group has a great following of vehicles and very welcoming to everybody. They are known for some unique heavy-weight naturally aspirated tractor classes. I will be visiting more of their events later this year, you should too!
