Woodstock, VA 7/8/23 -Interstate Pullers

The Interstate Pullers, founded in the late 70s and was formed to unify rules along pulling events in Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania and other surrounding states along I-81. The group has a ton of events and members.  This event featured some very unique classes including an old-school 2WD class that allows naturally-aspirated and small supercharged trucks together.  Just awesome!  Two classes of 4WDs, a very unique small block class which is only found in the Interstate group, along with what appeared to be similar Pro Stock 4WD rules common throughout the country.  The show featured Hot Farm, Modified Turbo and other super/pro-stock type classes similar to Light Limiteds and hot farms and Light Limited Pro Stocks found throughout the country.

All smoke fans need to come out and see this show.  This place was also Ford Heaven!  Not just in tractors but in trucks.  It was a really cool variety of vehicles.  And let me tell you about the Modified Tractor class!  the weight was 7800lbs.  You could run a small Hemi with an 871 blower or 2 naturally-aspirated V8s.  Remember when I said this was Ford Heaven?  Several of these tractors had twin Fords running against the Hemis.  It was a really cool class!

Just to let you know, when I take these pictures, I’ll take a lot of shots of what I call “scenery” shots.  Pictures of what it’s like to be there.   One of the things I loved about Woodstock, was just being there.  It was a great event!
